1. Project Time Management Activities
- Creating engineering, procurement, construction schedules and project’s
resources using Critical Path Method concept and Primavera Project planner P3
or P3 enterprise as a tool
- Review and comment on Contractors work program and documents Related to
planning and control in accordance with international Norms and standards
- Monitor, analyze and report work progress and status by activity.
- Identify critical and potentially critical activities
- Evaluate project performance using Earned value technique and forecasting.
- Identify deviation, preparing the necessary analysis and recommending the
Corrective Action.
- Participate in project progress view meetings and co-ordinate with
Counterparts in Concerned services
2. Cost Control Activities
- Allocate project’s resources to get project Budget cost using C.P.M.
concept.
- Establish BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SV, CV, SPI, CPI.
- Monitoring cost performance to detect variances from the plan.
- Ensuring that all appropriate changes are recorded.
- Preventing incorrect, inappropriate, or unauthorized changes.
- Informing the appropriate stakeholders of authorized changes.
- Analyzing positive and negative variances and how they affect the other
control processes.
